Lurisia Spa is the perfect destination for children’s breathing.
The properties of water, through inhalation treatments, are an aid to better cope with colds, ear infections, tonsillitis and allergies.
Inside the inhalation pavilion, an area has been set up exclusively for the little ones, where they can follow the course of treatment by playing, drawing, reading. A welcoming and engaging environment where the child can easily experience the approach to care.
Pediatricians, with increasing frequency, are advising their young patients to undergo thermal inhalation treatments to prevent or treat respiratory diseases.
Indications for inhalation treatment in children.
Chronic and/recurrent diseases of the respiratory tract, and allergic forms.
Tonsillitis, chronic adenoiditis, pharyngitis, laryngitis, sinusitis, and rhinitis.
In order to be eligible for the agreement with the National Health Service (Ministerial Decree 15/12/94), a doctor’s prescription is required in which exactly the following must be stated:
– Cycle of 24 inhalation treatments for vasomotor rhinopathy is required, or
– Cycle of 24 inhalation treatments for chronic pharyngolaryngitis is required, or
– Cycle of 24 inhalation treatments for chronic sinusitis is required, or
– Cycle of 24 inhalation treatments for adenoid hypertrophy is required, or
– Cycle of 24 inhalation treatments is required for chronic rhinosinusitic-bronchial syndromes, or
– Cycle of 24 inhalation treatments is required for chronic bronchitis simple or accompanied with obstructive component, or
– Cycle of 24 inhalation treatments for rhinogenic deafness for chronic otitis is required.
A second, shorter maintenance cycle is suggested to accompany the first treatment.
The spa doctor is available to advise on the best way to approach and follow treatment.
The characteristics of the Lurisia Thermal waters do not allow entry and use of the Water Cavern for children under the age of 14.
As a reminder, all Italian citizens are entitled to one cycle of spa treatment each year paid for by the National Health Service (Ministerial Decree 15/12/1994).
